World's Finest #0

Well I read it. And *surprise* I really enjoyed this issue. Kevin Maguire's art has grown tremendously on me and even though the fast-paced story seemed to breeze through some critical moments (especially with Helena) it did resonate with me. After some introspection and examining what I actually enjoyed in this issue I concluded that I now see this "Kara" as a holey different character from her previous incarnations. I can appreciate the story because I'm finally not instinctively expecting this character to have any similarities to the Gray/Palmiotti written PG. Deep, huh? Anyway, we'll see what happens next. I'm surprisingly interested. . .

PG in World's Finest

Has anyone been reading this sh!tstorm? That's not the Power Girl I know and love. Quite frankly I hate it and have finally dropped the title.

Any thoughts?

Anyone. . . ?

A very cool collection of PG art!

This dude (I believe I can safely assume the poster is male) has an absolutely fabulous collection of original Power Girl sketches on CAF ('ComicArtFans.com' for those not in the know). Take a look at his CAF gallery here. I believe that should keep y'all busy for at least a couple days!

So. . . she's back!

I'm back and so is Power Girl. DC has finally caved to my relentless pressure and brought back our favorite heroine. (I can't promise daily updates but I will shoot for a post at least once a week faithful followers.)

Anyway, PG is BACK y'all! Yeeeeeee-HAWRH!!! And she has a "freshly" designed DCnU costume. Oh sweet! Here she is with Huntress. . .

Hmmmh. . . Guess what? I really don't like PG's new costume. No, really, I REALLY don't like it. It reeks of the Jim Lee I-made-so-much-money-for-me-and-my-friends-in-the-early-nineties fashion school sensibility. Am I right or am I right? What do you all think?
